About the big night out company

It was the long wet summer of 2009 when a group of students from the University of Kent decided that something had to be done about the rather poor nightlife on offer in Canterbury. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Big Night Out Company is a student-run travel and events company, based in Canterbury, Kent. With a highly dedicated and responsible team of staff and volunteers, we are one of the biggest and most respected student-run enterprises around.

Affectionately known as BNO, we offer complete value for money to students across the south east, in our ever expanding list of universities; combined with top quality nights out in a safe and enjoyable environment.

We are proud to say that thousands of students enjoy the BNO experience every year, giving them something to look forward to, and highly enriching their student experience.

Our students are the most important thing about what we do. Too often do students get ripped off, taken advantage of and taken for a ride. As students ourselves, we know what we have to do, to deliver the best events possible and for the best price. We’re here to offer something slightly different from the norm; a real top quality night out in a real top quality venue for a real top quality price.
