How do I book tickets?
To book tickets, simply find the event you wish to go to on our website by clicking on the ‘Upcoming Events’ tab and then clicking on ‘Buy Now’ on the events page.
Can I book more than one ticket?
You are welcome to book as many tickets as you like, dependant on availability and spaces/tickets left.
I don’t have PayPal, can I still buy a ticket?
Even though we use PayPal to process your payments, you do not need a PayPal account to buy tickets from us. You can pay using Visa, Delta, Electron, Mastercard, Eurocard, Maestro, Solo and American Express.
I’m having problems paying online, is there any other way I can pay?
If you’re having trouble paying online then give Chris a call on 07917343930 and explain the problem and he’ll see what he can do!
I’ve paid online, what happens next?
Once your payment has been processed, you’ll be sent three emails. The first will be from The Big Night Out Company telling you that your payment has been received by us, the second will be from PayPal telling you that your payment has been successful and the third will be an e-ticket from us. It can take up to 24 hours for you to receive your e-ticket so don’t panic if you haven’t got it yet! All the messages will be sent to the email address you provided when booking.
Can I make an amendment to my ticket?
You can make amendments to your ticket free of charge, for example changing the name on the ticket, by emailing chris@thebignightoutcompany.co.uk and explaining the situation.
I still haven’t received my e-ticket, what should I do?
If it has been more than 24 hours since you paid for your ticket online, and you have checked your ‘Junk Mail’ for your e-ticket, then please send an email explaining the problem to chris@thebignightoutcompany.co.uk.
Can I make a name change?
You can change the name on the ticket to another completely free of charge, simply send an email to chris@thebignightoutcompany.co.uk explaining the situation. Please note, it is not possible to change the name on the ticket within 24 hours of the event.
I can no longer go, can I get a refund?
By far the easiest way to get a refund, is to sell your ticket to another person. If you can’t do that, we accept refunds, if made in writing, to refunds@thebignightoutcompany.co.uk and the email is not sent within 7 days of the event which you have paid for.
I’ve lost my ticket, what should I do?
Do not panic! All the tickets and information are stored in our computer, so simply send an email to chris@thebignightoutcompany.co.uk explaining the situation and, if possible, when you paid for the ticket and we’ll get a new one out to you right away. If it’s within 24 hours of the event, call Chris on 07917343930.
Do I have to be a student to go?
All our events are exclusively for students only. If you do not have a valid student card, you will not be guaranteed entry onto the coach or into the club.
I’ve lost my ID, what should I do?
All the clubs we run events to, require students to have a driving license or passport and a valid student ID. If you have lost any of these things, get in touch immediately and explain the situation.
What form of ID do I need?
All passengers need a valid student card and an accepted form of ID which are a photo driving license or a passport. Please note that in the majority of the clubs we run events to, cards with the PASS symbol will not be accepted.
What is the dress code?
Many of the clubs we go to do not have a dress code on the door, however some are extremely strict. On the event page on our website, it will say if there is a dress code or not. However, if you are still unsure, then contact us and we’ll help clear things up.
What do I need to bring with me on the night?
To ensure entry please bring along your student ID and regular ID (passport or driving license) and your printed e-ticket from The Big Night Out Company which was emailed to you when you paid.
How much money do I need to bring?
This very much depends on how much you usually spend on a night out so is difficult to say. However, you should be able to find a list of selected drinks prices on the event page on our website which should help you decide how much you need. As a general rule, drinks prices, are often cheaper than you get back at uni so £15 is usually ample.
What happens if I lose track of time and miss the coach?
As grown adults, you are deemed responsible for your own timekeeping and your own actions. The coaches have a strict time by which they must be back in their garages in case they are required the following day. The departure time of the coach will be on your ticket and you will be reminded on the night by our reps. If you still fail to get back to the coach on time, you will have to make your own way home.

Can I leave my belongings on the coach whilst I’m in the club?
You are welcome to leave your coats and bags on the coach whilst you are in the club however this is completely at your own risk. All the clubs and venues we visit provide adequate cloak rooms which we highly recommended you use instead of leaving them on the coach.
What if I lose something in the club or on the coach?
Any item which you take onto the coach is your responsibility and we cannot be held liable if something goes missing, though we will of course strive to help you find it again. We clean and check the coach at the end of the night in case anything has been lost and if we find anything, we will keep it until someone reclaims it so get in touch with us as soon as you realise something is missing. If you have lost something in the club there is little we can do about it, however we will assist you by giving you the relevant information to make your own enquires.
